COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

The prize is for two people travelling together and comprises:

Flights from the UK (London Heathrow) to Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul airport)

3 nights at the Embassy Suites Minneapolis Downtown, including breakfast

3 nights at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel, accommodation only

COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

The prize draw is open to residents of the UK except employees of Explore Minnesota and America As You Like It, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw and competition. 

By entering the competition you are confirming the following:

You are in possession of a valid passport and a current and valid visa or ESTA for entering the USA.

You are 21 years of age or older and hold a credit card in your name. Where car rental is included as part of the prize, you warrant that you are 25 years of age or older and have a valid driving licence, held for at least 12 months, and that you hold a credit card in your own name.

You are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as required by the US Department of Homeland Security.

The competition will close for receipt of entries at 23.59 on Sunday 14th May 2023.

We need a valid email address in order to contact the winner and only fully completed entries will be valid. 

Qualifying listeners will be entered into our prize draw, which will be drawn at random, once the competition has ended. 

Only one entry per household.

The judge's decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

If the winner does not respond within 7 days from the date of the notification, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected at random. If the winner rejects their prize or if their entry is invalid, the prize will be forfeited and we will select another winner at random.

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative holiday or combined with any other offer, promotions or discount.

Two tickets to St Paul Historic Cave Tour

The prize is subject to flight and hotel availability for travel between 15th June 2023 and 15th June 2024 and must be booked by 15th March 2024. The following exclusion periods apply: 01 July 2023 – 5 September 2023; 15 December 2023 – 5 January 2024; and 23 March 2024 – 7 April 2024.

Once the air tickets are booked, no name or date changes are possible.

This promotion will be governed by English law and the English courts have jurisdiction to hear any disputes in relation to it. 

The promoter of this promotion is KBC PR on behalf of Explore Minnesota.

The prize excludes:

Any form of travel or medical insurance

Any accommodation extras (e.g. telephone, mini-bar, room service, meals etc.)

Any personal expenses and spending money

Transfers while in the destination including between the airport and hotel and return 

UK transfers are not included in the prize, however the promoter will reimburse the winner for any costs associated with travelling to London Heathrow within reason, upon submission of receipts and up to the value of £200 per person.

 In the event of unforeseen circumstances Explore Minnesota or America As You Like It reserve the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.

By entering our draw, you will be given the option to opt in to receive marketing communication from Explore Minnesota and America As You Like It whom we will not market to you without obtaining your express permission. 

We will not pass your details to a third party without obtaining your express permission.

The winner must agree to have his/her name published as the winner of the competition and to be photographed for promotional purposes, if requested. We will not post the winning address publicly but we may use your first name and the name of the area, for advertising purposes.

By taking part in the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.  Any breach of these terms and conditions by any winner may result in forfeiture of their prize.
