David Hamilton writes

Boom Radio launched during Covid with everyone broadcasting from home - and it`s worked so well that we`re still doing that!   We all meet up once a year or so and at this year`s party at The Ivy in London there were 100 of us, reflecting the growing ranks of Boom Light and Boom Rock.

Now there`s a get together of Boom listeners! You`re coming from all parts of the UK - Scotland, Wales, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Surrey - to my Evening With David Hamilton show at Tamworth Assembly Rooms on May 30th. Lots of my Boom colleagues will be in the audience too. David Lloyd, Paul Robey, Susie Mathis and Les Ross have all promised to be there, as well as several of my showbiz pals.

It promises to be an evening of fun and frolics with videos of lots of the stars I've worked with.  You can ask questions too - and after the show I`ll  be signing copies of my autobiography, David Hamilton`s Long And Winding Road.

We`ve chosen Tamworth as it`s in the heart of the Midlands of England within easy reach of cities like Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Leicester.   I know the Assembly Rooms well as it was the first venue I played on my Rock `n` Roll Back The Years tour.  John Harper, one of the guitarists in the band and recently Mayor of Tamworth will be the host for the evening.   I call us the only double act with two straight men.
