1975 saw Dana's It's Gonna Be a Cold Cold Christmas hit the charts - and it's been part of our annual festive soundtrack ever since.

Fifty years on, Dana joins us on Boom Radio to host a special Christmas Eve programme from her home in Galway, reflecting on Christmases past: "My mum's delicious vegetable soup - and dad preparing the turkey".

Although she's achieved much in her life in writing and performing music, alongside politics and TV, Dana will forever be associated with her 1970 Eurovision win - carrying off victory with All Kinds of Everything. 

On Boom, Dana will play a selection of music special to her - plus some of her own Christmas recordings - and her new version of It's Gonna Be a Cold, Cold Christmas.
