Entrants can consist of solo vocalists, duo performers or bands.
Entrants must not have previously had chart success in the UK
This promotion is only open to residents of Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands
Potential contestants can enter the One More Dream competition via the entry form on the Boom Radio website between 5th Jan 00:01 and midnight on 4th February 2026
To be considered, all relevant sections of the entry form must be completed – and any requests for additional material fulfilled
To be considered, all sections of the release form must be read, signed and dated by every performing member of the band
All entries will be evaluated and the decision on the shortlist and winner will be taken by a panel of judges having considered all the information supplied. Judges will be looking for an interesting story and appropriate musical talent. The judges' decision shall be final and discussions cannot be entered into.
Contestants need to be available for filming and rehearsals/recording/performing on 10th, 11th and 26th March 2026 in London, plus 6th-10th Dec 2026 for two performances on a 4-night Ambassador Cruise Line cruise to Hamburg, Germany.
The shortlist will be notified on Wed 11th Feb 2026 and the final winners will be notified sometime w/c 16th Feb 2026
The prize for the winning artist/band will consist of: 1) a rehearsal/mentoring day in London, 2) the chance to perform at the Boom Radio party in London, 3) a day at AIR Studios to record a single, and 4) a 4-night cruise to Hamburg for every member of the band (plus a guest each), including performing two approx.
50-minute sets in one evening as part of the ship’s entertainment
All travel and accommodation costs and a reasonable allowance for food will be covered by Boom Radio (for the London dates) or Ambassador Cruise Line (for the cruise to Hamburg)
