Boom Radio is delighted to be joining with Ambassador cruise line to launch One More Dream - a once-in-a-lifetime comeback story!
One More Dream offers performers who hoped for success generations ago a chance to claim the limelight at last. It will follow the search for a band, group or solo artist whose path to fame may have faltered the first-time round – as life got in the way - but whose talent and passion deserves to shine at last.
One More Dream is Boom’s biggest commercial partnership to date, bringing together two brands that share a deep understanding of the Baby Boomer audience, creating a campaign designed to resonate with audiences on air, online and at sea.
After a rigorous judging process, a shortlist of acts will be chosen by a panel comprising Boom’s celebrated presenters, along with familiar names from the world of entertainment.
The winning band will enjoy, at last, the experience they dreamed of. Guided through selection, rehearsals and recording by well-known figures in music, they will be brought to London’s legendary AIR Studios to lay down a professionally produced track with a No.1 hit-making producer.
Boom Radio listeners will be able to follow the band’s progress as the search builds towards its finale with the band’s journey set to be documented on air and online, supported by full-scale digital activity.
The spotlight will then shine on the band for the crowning moment of their ascent, with a special headline performance aboard Ambassador’s first lady of the sea, Ambience, later this year.
Alongside Boom Radio’s on-air and digital activity, Ambassador Cruise Line will support the campaign through its own marketing channels, extending the reach of One More Dream across email, digital and social platforms and introducing the project to both cruise-curious listeners and loyal Ambassador guests.
