Amongst Eddie's claims to fame is that he was born in the same hospital as Marty's daughter Kim Wilde, though she arrived three weeks later. 

His determination in life was proven when he became a county backstroker aged fifteen, even though he'd only just learnt to swim.  He was to meet his future wife at the pool - and they now have two children and four cats.

Eddie's interest in music began on the discovery of his uncle's big old reel-to-reel tape recorder. His Dad told him: “know your music if you want to make it in radio”.

He quickly did, soon appearing on several commercial stations across the South and Midlands - before becoming part of Lincolnshire's highly successful station at its launch in the '90s.  He rose to the post of Head of Music there and beyond.

Eddie is a proud Brentford supporter, having cheered them on through thick and thin.
