Our 5th Anniversary Party

Boom is normally a quiet affair. We chat to you - and play thousands of records  - from our homes to yours.  And we love it that way.

But that means our occasional team get-togethers are even more special.

Our first, in 2021, was in the upstairs room of a small pub as the threat of Covid was just ebbing away. This year, we marked our fifth anniversary more grandly with a hundred of us assembling at The Ivy in London. Our presenters and partners were there alongside all the other valued members of staff who help bring Boom to you - and some special guests whose help we've really valued.

Many of us are old friends from other chapters of our lives  - but for some of us, these occasions are the first time we've ever met. It really was a magical night and we thought we'd answer your requests for pics by sharing a few here.

In the speeches on the night, we also shared some of the lovely comments you've sent to us recently.  They always mean the world to us.

Of course, when it came to speeches, we enjoyed a few mischievous words from our Great David Hamilton - standing here with our special guest Mike Batt.
