Tony Brandon. The 92-year old broadcaster and comedian returns to radio after around 20 years! “It’s a miracle I’ve been asked back!”, he says.

Tony made his name on Radio 1 and Radio 2, after spells on Radio Luxembourg and the pirate Radio London “Those were my most memorable days. I loved working on the pirate radio ships. I worked with such lovely people; and we always met up even during our weeks off!”.

Tony says his own musical tastes are “from Rock to Rhachmaninoff – and he recalls fondly visiting Alan Freeman’s house, with Fluff ‘bombarding you with all sorts of music”.
