No broadcaster has rivalled his reputation for creativity.  

Risk-taking, rule-breaking - but always much-loved by those who listened, watched and worked with him. With a Christmas Day birthday - Kenny Everett was the best ever gift for radio listeners.

In this special programme, we celebrate what would have been his 80th birthday - treating him to the party he should have had.  It showcases his genius, with rarities -and contributions from those who knew him.

The programme is hosted by his old colleague at Capital, Nicky Horne and produced by Stephanie Hirst. Originally broadcast on his Christmas Day birthday, the thirtieth anniversary of losing his gifts seems a decent reason for us to repeat the show.
